http://www.nursing.virginia.edu A Nursing RSS Feed 2008 - 2009 UVa School of Nursing Information Systems lmb7s@virginia.edu (Lee Brunjes) TerminalFour SiteManger http://feedvalidator.org/docs/rss2.html Career Fair 2009 The University of Virginia School of Nursing will be hosting our annual Career Fair on Monday, November 30, 2009.  This is an opportunity for recruiters to meet, interview and interact with many of the best and brightest student nurses in Virginia.  UVA has 90 graduating BSNs in May 2010, 90 Third Year students looking for summer internships, 25 Direct Entry MSN: Clinical Nurse Leader students graduating in August 2010, and approximately 70 graduating specialty MSN students.  Students from other area colleges and universities will also be invited. The Career Fair will be a 2 hour event. We invite nurse recruiters from health care agencies from the region as well as Magnet facilities from across the country.  Graduate Nursing Schools will also be represented.  Refreshments are provided for exhibitors during your set-up. Set up time for displays will be 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm.  Career Fair will actually begin at 4:00pm. All registrants will be provided with one table and two chairs.  Please let us know if electricity is needed. Exhibitor tables will be in the Newcomb Hall Ballroom (the University Student Center)  Nearby parking is available at the Central Grounds Parking Garage. The University of Virginia is conducting our Career Fair in conjunction with other schools of nursing in the Mid-Atlantic region to create a 9-day/10 school 'circuit'.  Nurse recruiters interested in other stops on the 'circuit' should contact the nursing schools at Johns Hopkins, Maryland, Howard, Georgetown, Villanova, the University of Pennsylvania, Virginia Commonwealth University, New York University, and Boston College.
