Outstanding Faculty Research Publication Award
History and Purpose - The School of Nursing Alumni Association began funding this award in 2006-07 with proceeds from the Nursing Annual Fund. This award is established to promote the School of Nursing research committee’s goal of increasing the number of faculty publications in top tier journals.
Application - Faculty will be invited to submit one peer reviewed, data based publication for consideration for this award. Preference will be given to articles published in top tier journals. The publication must have a citation for the calendar year of the award. Publications in print in 2007 will be eligible for the 2007 award.
Application Deadline - April 15, 2008. Submit a copy of your publication with a cover memo requesting review for this award to Camille Hicks (ecf8d@virginia.edu).
Funding Availability - $1,000 in 2007-08 This award is funded by the School of Nursing Alumni Association.
