The UVa School of Nursing is proud to boast some of the leading nurse researchers in the nation. Here are a few of our recent grant awards:

  • $63,159 on August 30, 2006- from NIH/NINR award to Melissa Sutherland for “Dissociation, abuse, and safer sex practices of rural women.” Faculty sponsor: Barbara Parker
  • $444,879 on September 20, 2006 from NIH/NINR award to Patricia Hollen for “Decision Aid for Cancer Surviving Adolescents.” Principal Investigator: Patricia Hollen
  • $303,000 on September 30, 2006 from NIH award to Kim Innes for “Yoga and Cardiovascular Risk in Older Women”. Principal Investigator: Karen (Kim) Innes
